In most elections, less than 30% of voters determine the outcome of any election - and 70% of Americans are left unrepresented. Using tools like ballot access restrictions, redistricting, and single-member districts, establishment politicians rig the game to ensure a 90% re-election rate, no matter how they do.
Politicians, parties, and political donors run our elections now.
Over the past 100 years, our election system has shifted to benefit established politicians, parties in power, and political donors. Thousands of new candidates run for office every year, but must pay thousands in fees just to run for office, cannot run to represent the voters in many districts, and can often only represent half the voters in their district when they win.
If we don’t fix this - we face a future no one wants.
Without better politicians, we can’t have better solutions. Without better solutions, we are headed to a future no one wants - a deeply divided, angry, and violent America. America is in crisis. Only fixing our elections can save it.
